Google and Microsoft are the newest tech companies preparing to sponsor the Special Competitive Studies Project’s AI Expo for National Competitiveness coming to Washington next month.

The nonprofit project is promising that the expo, slated for May 7-8 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, will give attendees access to government officials and visibility into advanced new artificial intelligence technology capturing attention around the world.

Organizers say the expo will feature more than 150 exhibitors from the U.S. government and private industry and more than 250 speakers discussing breakthroughs in AI and emerging technology.

“Our exhibition floor will be filled with companies showcasing a wide array of cutting-edge emerging technologies alongside representatives from U.S. government agencies, partner and allied countries, academia, and civil society,” the project said on Substack.
