Visitors to the renowned Disney World in Orlando have been met over the last decade with a steady climb in prices, affecting everything from park tickets to parking and food.

A new comprehensive analysis by All Ears uncovers the significant increases that affect family budgets and the cost of experiencing the “magic kingdom.”

From 2014 to 2024, the price of adult admission tickets soared from $90 to $119 for the base price, and up to $189 for peak times, marking jumps of 32.2% and 90.9%, respectively.

Children’s tickets have followed suit, rising from $84 to $114 (base price) and from $93 to $184 (peak price). This indicates a 35.7% increase for the standard fare and a nearly doubling of price at 97.8% for peak tickets.

Getting in to a Disney park is just the beginning of the cash you’re going to shell out.

At the beginning of 2014, parking at Disney World cost $15, but in 2024 it costs $30 to park — double a decade ago, All Ears reports.

Food is also more expensive. For example, quick service at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe for, say, a 1/3 pound angus cheeseburger, has increased from $9.99 in 2014 to $13.29 in 2024. That’s 33%.

A side of French fries was $2.79 and is now $4.99 in 2024 — an increase of $2.20, or 78.8%. A kids meal at Cosmic Rays ran around $5.99 for a turkey sandwich meal, and a similar meal now costs $7.79 (though it does include one more side.) That’s a 30% increase.

A small or regular fountain beverage was $2.59 a decade ago, and now costs $4.49, an increase of 73.7%.

Sitting down at a restaurant costs even more. An adult meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table (which uses prix fixe pricing) in 2014 was $54.76. That same meal now runs you $84 and change. That’s a 53.4% increase. A child meal was $33.60 in 2014 and is now $49 in 2024 — a 45.8% increase.

Want a “Mickey Pretzel”? That cost $4.29 a decade ago and now it costs $6.79 (or $7.79 with cheese). That’s 81.6% more.
