Many “Jeopardy!” viewers are irate that the knowledge game went woke, including a gender-related pronoun clue during Monday’s “Tournament of Champions” quarterfinal.

The answer in question came up during the show’s second round. Contestant Cris Pannullo picked the $600 clue in the category titled, “Speech! Parts of Speech!”

“Xem, Xyrs, Xemself,” read the answer. Mr. Pannullo posed the question: “What are pronouns?”

But that was wrong. “Those are pronouns,” host Ken Jennings admitted, adding what he said was the correct answer, “neopronouns.”

Some viewers hated the exchange, declaring they’ll never watch the program again.

“Jeopardy asked about xem/xyrs/xemself ‘pronouns’ during last night’s show,” one person wrote on X. “How would you answer this?”

Another wrote: “I still watch Jeopardy every day but their questions and answers keep getting weirder and weirder. When Alex Trebek was still alive we never had any of this.”

A third said: “I will NEVER watch Jeopardy after this. After Alex, it all went downhill.”

“@Jeopardy lost a lifetime fan over pronouns,” another wrote. “Never thought you would condone mental illness for viewership.”

“Dear God, we’ve lost #Jeopardy to the woke insanity,” said radio broadcaster Mike Opelka as he shared a clip from the show.

Neopronouns are real, at least according to Medical News Today, which defines them as “a group of pronouns that fall outside these more common pronouns.”

We all know pronouns like he and she, but MNT says neopronouns “express a person’s identity in a way that is less tied to these concepts” of masculine or feminine and “involve objects or ideas that an individual feels a strong connection to.”
